Terms and Conditions

Hero is a web-based app that helps its user read. Hero acts as a browser extension and is available in a web format. Hero is downloaded and installed via Google App store. Hero can simplify difficult words by replacing them with easier synonyms. The help is personalized and adapted to the user’s individual needs.

Subsequent terms apply, and are legally binding, to all users of Hero. Terms and conditions must be accepted before you can use Hero.


Yet Hero is just a demo product and therefore there is no subscription agreement. On the other hand, there is a time-limited agreement on a free trial period. Hero may, with 15 days notice, terminate the user’s free demo trial period.


The information that the user enters into the service is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties. All data belongs to Hero. See Privacy Policy for more information.

Operational stability

Hero is constantly evolving, and Hero reserves the right to update and change the content. Hero strives for the highest possible operational stability, but is not responsible for breakdowns or malfunctions, including for malfunctions caused by factors beyond Hero’s control. By this is meant i.a. power failure, equipment failure, Internet connections, telecommunications connections or the like. Hero disclaims any warranty whatsoever.


The use of Hero is at your own risk, and Hero cannot be held responsible for either direct or indirect losses that may arise due to lack of access to the service, regardless of the cause or fault of Hero which may result in operating losses, consequential damages, loss of data or other indirect losses. . Hero does its best to avoid data loss or that unauthorized persons become aware of data. All data is stored in a secure cloud with an encrypted connection to prevent unauthorized access to data. Furthermore, Hero is not responsible for any problems that may arise due to circumstances beyond Hero’s control. This applies, for example, to power outages, problems with internet connections, problems with hardware, hacker attacks, viruses or other forms of force majeure.

Data security

When you register as a Hero user, an email address will be entered in our database. This information will be stored in order to offer you the best possible service.

Hero has established procedures for deleting data lawfully and storing data so that it is protected and is only personally identifiable if it has a described and useful purpose.


We reserve the right to change and update these terms and conditions. You will be notified of significant changes via email.
